Heroic masked tigers of anime: Past and Present

If there is one thing I am pretty sure of, is that anime will always have its heroes, and among them there will be heroes who will be assuming the name of “Tiger”.

In the late 1960’s (1968 to be exact) to the early 1970’s, there was a heroic wrestler by the alias of Tiger Mask. He was a heroic face wrestler who helped orphans and donated his earnings to the orphanage he grew up on when he was a child. He was a hero to children during his time and still is a hero today.

Today, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi AKA Wild Tiger is a hero who has a traditional sense of justice, always prioritizing lives of other people first before anything else. Currently, he is facing the dilemma of his powers gradually disappearing for good. Many anime fans who watch Tiger and Bunny love Kotetsu’s character.

In past or present, masked heroes who use Tiger as their alias are always loved by kids and adults alike.
