Looking back at 2011: the best of the best

For the final day of 2011 (at least for those who are in the GMT+8 area of the world) while time slowly ticks away to welcome 2012, I’d like to tot talk about my nominations for the best of the best. 2011 is a great year for anime and I think I should pay tribute to those who made this year an exceptional year.

Remembering some of our winter 2010-2011 anime

The winter season batch of anime is now being concluded to give way to the incoming spring batch of anime. Personally, this winter batch is one of the better batches of anime, as it gave us some really good titles (and some not so good ones). I’d like to take this opportunity to take a look back at some of the good anime of the winter anime block and give my comments about them.

Short musings about Level E and trolling.

Level E is definitely one of the gems of the winter 2010-2011 batch of anime. The characters are awesome and the wit and humor is just refreshing but if there’s one thing that Level E is surely doing, it is demonstrating the art of trolling perfectly (although in a grandiose and humorous manner).
